Kinesiology
The Department of Kinesiology's primary goal
is to prepare future physical education teachers and athletic
trainers. Our curriculum is designed to develop students' cognitive
competencies while exposing the student to as wide a range
of skill areas as possible to meet NCATE and NATA requirements
for teacher and athletic trainer certification, respectively.
The primary purpose is to make our majors as effective as possbile
when they enter the competitive field of teaching and athletic
