Marching Bucs

We are the largest and the LOUDEST student spirit organization on campus! Our mission is to entertain our community, to engage our audiences, and to inspire the spirit of collegiate athletics into CSU! We make participation in the Marching Bucs both affordable and manageable. It is affordable because new members in the Marching Bucs receive a $1,000 stipend to participate in Marching Band (Fall semester)/Symphonic Band (Spring semester)! It is manageable with the busy schedule of a college student for many reasons:

• Band Camp is a few days before classes begin, not in the middle of the summer; We only practice during class time, and Saturday mornings of game days;

• Performances are limited to an average of 5 home and 2 away games only - not every weekend!

• The time commitment is much less than for high school band! Marching Band meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30-5:00 (no Friday rehearsals if no home game that Saturday!)
