David Britt

David BrittDavid Britt has been with Charleston Southern in various capacities since 2008. He is currently an assistant professor of management and was a former assistant dean of the College of Adult and Professional Studies. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University, an MBA from Charleston Southern University, and is scheduled to complete a DBA from Walden University in 2015. In 2013, he received the National Online Professor of the Year award from Best Colleges Online.

David also owns Inn Connections, LLC and Charleston Global, LLC. These management consulting companies focus on process improvement strategies in hospitality, non-profits, small businesses, and churches.

David has broad experience in corporate business management. He previously served as Vice President of North American Sales for ConAgra Foods, as well as Director of Trade Marketing for The Quaker Oats Company. Other career experiences include owning and operating a small boutique hotel in Washington state, and serving as Executive Pastor at two large churches in South Carolina and Texas.

David's volunteer passion lies in helping business people in churches use their expertise to advance the Lord's kingdom around the world. He has led business as mission projects in Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Hungary, to name a few.

Mel Sinclair

Mel SinclairDr. Melvin "Mel" Sinclair, Jr. has served as Chief Human Resources Officer reporting to the CEO, successfully completed 20 acquisitions, completed the start-up for Hitachi Electronics Devices (USA) as head of human resources (employee number 2), and built scalable human resources systems for high growth organizations. His experience spans the defense, manufacturing, and financial services industries.

Mel's career and academic concentration is in human resource management, small business management and entrepreneurship, business strategy, and organizational behavior. Dr. Sinclair earned the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). He has served on several university advisory boards and was a top finalist for the South Carolina Human Resource Management Award for Professional Excellence (State SHRM and State Chamber of Commerce award). Dr. Sinclair earned a doctorate in business administration, a master's degree in human resource development, and a bachelor's degree in banking and finance.

Dianne Dinkel

Dr. Dianne DinkelDianne Dinkel earned her bachelor of science in training and development from Grand Canyon University, a master of business administration from Arizona State University and a doctor of education degree in leadership from Northern Arizona University. She joined the College of Adult and Professional Studies in 2012 as a full-time faculty member. She previously taught courses at Grand Canyon University, Concordia University, and Triton College (Chicago, IL). Dianne spent over 28 years as the senior fiscal officer at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, Concordia University in Chicago, IL, and the Kohl Children's Museum in Glenview, IL. As the senior fiscal officer, she was responsible for the accounting and finance department, human resources, physical plant, IT, and auxiliary services of the organizations.

Additionally, she leads ATHENA International, an organization that supports, develops, and honors women leaders through various leadership programs. She speaks nationally on women's leadership issues on behalf of ATHENA.

Dianne has received several awards, including distinction as one of 100 Women in Influence and 100 Women Who Make a Difference by Today's Chicago Woman Magazine and as one of America's Top Women Mentoring Leaders. She has been the recipient of the World of Difference Award by the International Alliance for Women. Dianne was inducted by her hometown into the Sand Springs Education Foundation Hall of Fame in April 2013. Other awards include the Outstanding Service Award for Public Education by the American Cancer Society and the Distinguished Alumnus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.
