Are you interested in pursuing a career in the sciences? We offer a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry  or Biochemistry. Many graduates will go on to medical school, dental, pharmacy or to further study in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology or toxicology. When students complete the program, as we recommend, they have an excellent chance of acceptance into a postgraduate institution.

Small class size An advantage of our program is  small class size and laboratory. This means our students have the personalized attention in their classes and laboratories from our faculty that they deserve. State-of-the-art facilities In addition to small class size we have modern facilities complete with state-of-the-art laboratories and instrumentation for courses and undergraduate research utilizing:           

  • 400 MHz NMR
  • Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry
  • Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy 
  • Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
  • Ultraviolet and visible Spectrometry            
  • Fluorescence Spectrometry
  • Liquid and Gas Chromatography
  • PCR thermocycle
  • Photo-documentation station

Research Opportunities Students are encouraged to participate in research opportunities with faculty members. Our undergraduate researchers make a real difference  to the field of research.
