History

The History department offers studies in American  History. Our proximity to Charleston, one of America's most historical cities, gives students a chance to look deeper into Southern history. Careers are available to history majors in government, law, business, education and more. The  program helps develop skills in research, written and verbal communication and critical thinking. The Bachelor of Arts in History offers a variety of classes ranging from World Civilizations to Historiography.
