The Reference Room contains:
- Subject-specific dictionaries and encyclopedias, Bibles and bible commentaries, and many other Reference books which cannot be checked out of the library
- The Ready Reference collection behind the Reference Desk holds frequently used titles, such as the MLA and APA style guides
- Periodicals and scholarly journals in print and microfilm/microfiche format. Many more periodicals are available in electronic format in the library's subscription databases
- Leisure Reading collection
- Computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office
The study tables, individual study carrels, and soft seating make the Reference Room a great place for serious study. The librarians at the nearby Reference Desk are readily available to answer all your research needs.
Designated as a quiet study area, remember to keep conversations to a minimum. Put your cell phone in silent mode and take any audible phone conversations outside. Beverages in covered containers are allowed, but no food please.
