School of Business hosts Sigma Beta Delta induction ceremony

The induction ceremony for Sigma Beta Delta, held on March 22, 2013, recognized Charleston Southern University students for their academic excellence.

To qualify for an invitation, students must be in the top 20% of their junior, senior or second year MBA classes. Twenty-one students, who had attained superior academic records in the CSU School of Business, were honored with a dinner prior to the ceremony.

Members of the School of Business who were inducted include faculty member, James Wilkerson; MBA Academic Advisor, Rachel Wagner; and the Executive Assistant to the Dean, Taylor Cook. Douglas Hunter, CSU’s newly appointed Executive Director of the Center for Christian Leadership, was inducted as an honorary member. Hunter was also the guest speaker for this annual event.

Sigma Beta Delta is the International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration and installed its first chapter in 1994. The Charleston Southern Chapter was established in 1999.
