Program Coursework

 

The BS in Athletic Training contains 71 credit hours of specific coursework in athletic training. The ATP is designed in two distinct phases, pre-professional and professional. During the pre-professional phase, students are required to complete prerequisite courses and submit an application to be considered a candidate for the professional phase of the program. The curriculum is design in a 1 + 3 format. Freshman students complete 1 year of prerequisite courses, once admitted, students then must complete the 3 year professional phase. Transfer students are required to satisfy all prerequisite courses requirements prior to admission complete the 3 year professional phase after successful admission to the program.
