Youth Ministry
We offer bachelor's degrees in religion and youth ministry at Charleston Southern. Our curriculum is biblically based, and courses are taught from a Christian perspective. Our graduates pursue careers in the ministry as pastors, youth pastors, missionaries and in areas of Christian leadership.
The religion and youth ministry majors are designed to provide a foundation for ministry and a steppingstone to specialization at the seminary/graduate level.
Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry: A major in Youth Ministry consists of 36 semester hours.
In addition to taking courses related to your major you take the required liberal arts core of 47 semester hours. The liberal arts core is general education courses taught from a Christian worldview where faith is integrated in learning.
